Google Analytics

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is tracking software of Google that tracks and reports website traffic. It is a free service that will allow you to track the behavior and visitors on your website. Google launched the service in November 2005. Google Analytics is now the most widely used web analytics service on the Internet. Google Analytics analysis can also identify where visitors came, how long they stayed and also their geographical position.
By using Google analytics, we can find the following details regarding our website or blog.

·                     How many people visit my website?
·                     Where the visit came from [we can know their location]
·                     Which Devices used to visit?
·                     Which pages on website are most visited?
·                     What blog content do visitors like the most.
·                     How can I improve my website's performance?
Google analytics is connected to our website with a tracking code. It is a JavaScript code in our analytics account.

These visits can classified as
·                     Direct visit / Natural visit
·                     Referral visit
·                     Social media visit
·                     Organic visit
Visitors who wanted to visit the site by typing the URL directly into the browser. 'Direct' can also refer to the visitors who clicked on the links from their bookmarks / favorites, links within emails, or links from documents.
Visitors referred by links on other websites.
Social media visit
The social media visit occurs from twitter, face book.
Visitors referred by an unpaid search engine listing, e.g. a Google.com search.
